Oobend.com is a real, functioning Shopify shoe store rather than an outright phishing site, but it shows classic drop-shipping pressure tactics: a perpetual '50% off' countdown timer, AI-generated product images (filenames literally reference ChatGPT), and vague 'Japan Design' branding. Independent sources cut both ways — Trustpilot shows a modest positive rating, but Reddit buyers report a 'run-around' when trying to use the advertised easy returns, and ScamAdviser assigns the domain a low trust score. You may receive a product, but expect inflated marketing claims and difficulty getting refunds.
The red flag our scan surfaced on oobend.com
Buyers report return/refund run-around despite '30-day money back' promise
mediumA Reddit thread in r/BarefootRunning titled 'oobend shoes are a scam don't buy them' describes support stonewalling return requests despite the site's prominent 'easy returns, no risk' and '30 Day Money Back Guarantee' banners. This mismatch between advertised and actual refund policy is a hallmark of low-quality dropshipping operations.

What should you do right now?
- If you buy, pay with a credit card only — never a debit card, wire, Zelle, or gift cards — so you can dispute the charge if the order goes wrong.
- Search the exact domain plus 'reviews' outside the store's own site, and screenshot the product page and order confirmation so you have records.
- Still unsure? Run the live check on the exact URL for a current researched verdict with the full 0–100 score, instead of guessing.
